It was made in cotton with natural indigo and leather.

Authentic leather zukin with uncommon rare set to find. The cotton is stable with natural indigo fading.The leather Hikeshi-zukin is supple with no craking. Minor small holes and light surface wear are present due to age, typical for 170 years old firefighter textiles.No modern alterations and all mon are intact.
